Yewa DescendantsUnion  UK, Ireland donate Furniture to School in Ipokia
Schools across Yewaland have continued to receive classroom furniture boost from Yewa Descendants Union (YDU) UK and Ireland to make them conducive for learning.

The latest school to benefit from the YDU classroom furniture donation is IPLG Primary School, Ipokia-Yewa. The handing over of the classrooms furniture was done on Friday the 18th of November, 2022 by Mr. Tosin Amosu and Mr Kehinde Akinlade on behalf of YDU.

The furniture donation to Yewa schools is being facilitated by individual members of YDU UK and Ireland as part of the Union’s on going intervention projects to aid growth and development across Yewaland.

IPLG Primary School, Ipokia furniture donation was facilitated by the President of Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland, Mr. Kayode Amosu.

YDU had made similar donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Primary School, Iboro-Yewa, St James Anglican Nursery and Primary School, Oke Odan and Baptist Day School, Oke Odan.which were facilitated by Ms Yetunde Odebiyi and Ogboye Adetunji Ebo, the former president of YDU UK and Ireland respectfully.

Onipokia of Ipokia land,Oba Yisa Adeniyi Olaniyan Oshingin II while reacting to the donation by YDU to lPLG Primary School, Ipokia appreciated the facilitator of the furniture donation, Mr. Kayode Amosu and the entire members of Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland for giving back to their communities.

The royal father urged the Union not to relent but to continue the good work they are doing for the good people of Yewaland, the young ones who are tomorrow leaders in particular. Oba Olaniyan also called on YDU to extend similar gesture to others schools across the land.

The headteacher of Ipokia Local Government Primary School, also commended YDU UK and Ireland for the furniture support given to the children of the school and prayed for the blessing of God on all members of the Union in the land of their sojourn.
