Withdraw or be killed, kidnappers threaten kidnapped contestant over OOUTH Cooperative Society Election

The Thursday, 9th December, 2021 scheduled election of the members of Cooperative Society of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital has been polarized with threat to life of one of the two contestants; Nurse Ogunlesi.

Ogunlesi stated that she was kidnapped on Sunday, 5th December, 2021, taken to a bush, beaten and forced to sign undertaking that she willingly withdrew from vying for the position of the Society’s President, after which she was released some hours ago.

“You know I went for the screening on Thursday 2, where I was told to return for the final screening on Monday 6, not knowing that I would be kidnapped on Sunday 5.

“I was taken to a bush, beaten, and forced to sign undertaking that I wouldn’t participate in the election.

“As it is, I can’t go out o, they said they are at everywhere, that they must not see me until after the election”, Ogunlesi confided.

Nurse Ogunlesi said she was threatened not to involve the Police, or else, she will be killed.

As she was narrating her ordeals in the hands of the kidnappers through phone call, suddenly her phone went off.

RazorTimes reliably gathered that it was her husband who out of fear of the men of the underworld snatched the phone from her – preventing her from daring the deadly kidnappers – haven been warned to make the ‘undertaking’ a secret.

However, insiders who prefer anonymity have allegedly attributed the pranks to the game plans of acting DNS – Director of Nursing Services of the institution, Mrs Kikelomo Enaholo. Mrs Enaholo was said to have occupied the position of the Cooperative Society for two terms, after which she successfully installed her successor.

Perhaps, according to the allegation, the DNS has a skeleton in her cupboard which needed to be covered up in the face of any possible investigation.

RazorTimes reports that Mrs Enaholo had installed the incumbent President, Mr Doyin Bello unopposed for the first term.

This time around, the kidnapped nurse – Nurse Ogunlesi – who aspired to contest the office of the President of the Cooperative Society with Mr Bello (the alleged ‘annointed candidate’ of the acting DNS) had just been threatened to withdraw or else she will be killed.

What will now become of the election, and the security of lives at the Almighty OOUTH?
