The already bright chances of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi at clinching the Senate seat of Ogun West in the coming general elections received further boost as People Democratic Party members from Yewa North thronged the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ilaro to decamp and declare their willingness to work for the victory of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi and his party the APC.

The decampees who based their decision to support the APC Ogun West candidate on his democratic deliveries to his constituents and by extension, his political families said crossing over to Senator Adeola’s political divide was propelled by popular demand in their localities.

Receiving the Hon. Aramide led PDP decampees into the fold of APC, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi salute their leader for wanting the good of his people and that of Yewa Awori land. He promised them adequate sense of belonging adding that no one will be sidelined.

The lawmaker described those who are accusing him of attracting people with money as self-centered politicians who also have resources but are concerned with only their immediate family to the detriment of their followers in the field of politics.

Explaining the joy he finds in giving, the APC candidate said he has two families that will always benefit from him, they are his biological family and his army of followers who are his political families. The two he said will never be left behind for as long as he is alive.

He expressed his happiness in the meaningful developments he has been able to attract to Ogun West for the benefit of his people which he said he will always be committed to.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi reiterated the need for the decampees from Yewa North to work assiduously for all candidates of the APC in the coming general elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president, Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term as Ogun State Governor, himself as Senator representing Ogun West, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka as Yewa North/Imeko Afon House of Representatives member, Hon. Jemili Akingbade, Hon. Adegoke Awoso and Hon. Haruna Egungbohun as Ogun State House of Assembly members for Yewa North and Imeko Afon state constituencies.

Earlier, the ranking Senator had received the representatives of an Allied Peoples Movement (APM) group in Yewa South who had come to pledge loyalty to All Progressives Congress APC and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi as the elections nears.

The leader of the group, Hon. Dokunmu Samson said the coming of the group was to announce their decamping into the fold of the APC and the readiness to work for the victory of all candidates of the APC in coming elections.

Hon. Dokunmu Samson said the group moved into the APM in the past because of their desire to see the emergence of an Ogun State Governor of Yewa Awori descent. He added that the group is back now into the APC to stay.

He described his team as very loyal and committed grassroots politicians that abhor double dealing as shown in their sojourn in APM where they showed commitment untill the need to quit the failing party arose.

Senator Adeola urged the leaders of the team to mobilize all their members throughout Yewa South Local Government Area for all APC rallies and for the elections.
