Ogun NCEVECC trains 50 personnel on enforcement of Ethics Through Safety

The National Community Ethics And Value Environmental Compliance Corps ( NCEVECC) Ogun State chapter has trained no fewer than 50 personnel on the enforcement of ethics through safety.

This was disclosed in Sagamu by the Deputy Commandant of the Corps in Ogun State, Matthew Fakolujo, during a day training workshop for their officers.

Matthew said the training tagged, ”Train the Trainee” would help in building the capacities of the officers when discharging their duties.

He explained further that the training will assist the officers to be able to enforce compliance to ethics and values of the nation’s environment whenever they are posted to serve throughout the length and breadth of Ogun State and Nigeria.

He therefore called on Nigerians to abhor immoral activities and crimes as rape, banditry, cultism kidnapping, killing as much as open defaecation, improper dressing, and corruption, saying henceforth NCEVECC’s officers and men would soon be posted to various communities to enforce environmental compliance of Nigerian ethics and value system.

The State training Commander Sanni Usman stressed that the training will enlighten the officer that will be posted on the field on how to enforce ethics through safety.

He described ethics as a moral principles to differentiate the variances between what is right or wrong.

The Deputy Zonal Commander, Mrs Odeleke said the officers have been taking care of the environment between Sabo to Kara area of Sagamu, instructing the people in the community not to drop refuse by the roadside .

“We went to different houses around to enlighten them reasons they shouldn’t drop refuse on the road in which they comply to the directives given to them”, she affirmed.
