Ogun gets new Commissioner of Police, promise better security

The Ogun state new Commissioner of Police Lanre Bankole has assured Ogun state citizens of quality and better security strategies to ensure the state is safer and better.

The Commissioner disclosed this on Thursday during a welcome ceremony organized in his honor at the State headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta the state capital.

The good people of Ogun State should expect a better quality service in terms of security; we have a vision and the vision is to make Ogun State the safest place in the country interms”.

The Commissioner also revealed that, he has been briefed by his strategic leaders about the issues that arose in Ijebu-Ode banks, assuring that, he is ready to tackle all the peculiar crisis in Ijebu axis and ensure that life returns to normal in Ijebu-Ode.

“I have been briefed by my strategic leaders about the issues, and we are ready to tackle all peculiar in the axis, and where there is gray area, we will make sure that those gray area are cleared as we are going to make sure that life returns to normal in Ijebu-Ode ode.

“I’m inheriting a crop of seasons officers and in the course of time I will be talking to tactical and operational Commanders in other for them to key into a new focus in making the State safer and better”.

Bankole also stated that, community policing is also going to be of his strategies in assuring safer state of Ogun, adding he is going to streghten partnership and calling on top places and Nigerian Police and other security agencies to ensure Ogun State is in peaceful and better state, while tasking the officers to submit their actions plan to his table on Monday morning as first assignment to them all.
