Ex Sokoto Gov, Gen Gusau, clerics sponsoring terrorism – Mamu reveals

Tukur Mamu, the Abuja – Kaduna Train Attack Negotiator, according to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), has began revelations on syndicate behind the deadliest terrorism attacks in Nigeria.

It was reported that Tukur Mamu while responding to interrogation by the Department of State Service (DSS) has mentioned among others General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau, a former National Security Adviser and an international SPY expert, a former Sokoto state governor Alh Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, as well as some clerics which names will be released soon.

According to the report, Mamu said there were some politicians and clerics who have been behind the issue of terrorism in Nigeria and was ready to reveal them.

He stated that many of the sponsors of the terrorism in Nigeria conspires with their counterpart outside the country and have been supporting terrorists in various communities, particularly in northern Nigeria.

RazorTimes recalls that DSS was said to has raided the Kaduna residence and office of the terrorists’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu, some hours after he was repatriated to Nigeria from Egypt.

Confirming the raid, the Sevice’s spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, said incriminating items were found in his possession.

“So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office. During the processes, incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered.

“Other items include large amounts in different currencies and denominations as well as financial transaction instruments.”

“Tukur Mamu who has been complaining for government refusal to negotiate with the bandits of the Abuja – Kaduna train attack victims is being suspected of involvement in ransom recketteering to the tunre of over 2 billion naira and was arrested on Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt along with his two wives and sons on their way to Saudi Arabia”.
