Apostle Lawrence Achudume, the founder of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC), Abeokuta, Ogun State, has admonished Nigerians to keep hope alive.

In his sermon during a special church service in commemoration of Nigeria’s independence, tagged, “Winning the War”, the man of God said Nigeria is a special country which will soon berth greatness.

Don’t give up on this nation. Don’t try it. I can assure you there’s a pregnancy to be delivered.

“No nation is like Nigeria. I have travelled to many parts of the world.

“Moreso, this nation is about to give birth to greatness that our forefathers have not knew.

“In the new nigeria, there will be peace”.

Speaking further, Reverend Achudume cautioned some individuals who would dress down Nigeria, adding that while some are leaving the country, last week, it was in the national dailies that more than 200 expatriates secured approval of their application for Nigeria citizenship.

“Is Nigeria that bad? No, it’s not. Last week, more than 200 foreigners were made Nigerians citizens.

“It’s now clear that there’s something foreigners have seen that Nigerians are not seeing.

“The problem is that Nigerians are listening to rumours. Nigeria is not that bad. The nation is just 62. We will get there. Meanwhile, there’s a lot of Nigerians who still believe in Nigeria.

“I am sure, Nigeria will not be swallowed. Nigeria will give birth to greatness”, Achudume stressed.

Strengthening the faith of the congregation, he admonished them to stop depending on government, rather to become focused and determined entrepreneurs.

“Stop depending on government. You can’t afford to continue as beggars”.

In another dimension, the visiting preacher, Bishop Tom Samson of Christ Royal Family International Church, Ikeja, Lagos, gave words of consolation to the church.

Bishop Samson said, though, Nigeria, being a nation under siege will soon witnessed Divine deliverance.

“Nigeria is under siege. But God will deliver Nigeria. By 2023, there will be a change.
